Sharks Cove is the second most popular shore dive on Oahu and is located right off the Sunset Beach Fire Station. The site ranges from 15-60 feet with lots of arches and open-ended lava tubes, allowing much light penetration and easy access.
Electric Beach
In approximately 30-40 feet of water you will find the huge submerged exhaust water tubes for the electrical plant. The turbulent water action these tubes make is clearly visibly from the surface and shoreline. Great dive with lots of life.
Point Panic
There are several finger reefs to be found here interspersed with sand patches. There is also an artificial reef consisting of an underwater steel pipeline that is now broken up into pieces. Depths vary from 20ft-70ft at the deeper end of the pipeline.
Lanai lookout
This is an above average shore dive, with the entry point from a reef ledge, where it is a five foot drop into 35-40 feet of water. There is a cavern to the right of the entry point, which cuts 40 feet into the shoreline. The exit is a quarter mile from the entry point towards Hanauma Bay.
